Choke Manifold is the necessity equipment to control the well kick and implement well pressure control.By using the throttle valve on and off to control casing burst pressure to maintain the bottom pressure always larger than formation pressure to prevent formation fluid flow into wells in BOP closing situation. In addition, when closing the well, can use choke manifold decompression to achieve soft shut-in,.when pressure increases to a certain limit in well, it can open flow by choke manifold to protect the wellhead.
Choke manifold is consist of choke valve, gate valve, pipe, pipe fittings, pressure gauges etc.
When the well pressure increases, It can adjust the choke valve’s open and shut to release the well fluid to control the pressure on casing head. when the casing pressure exceeds a certain pressure, can directly open flow through gate valve
According to pressure level choke manifold can divided into : 14MPA, 21MPA, 35MPA, 70MPA, 105MPA. We can also design according to customer needs.
