Introduction
WD-SJ102 is an agglomerated fluoride-basic type soldering flux for submerged arc welding with a basicity index of BIIW 3. 5. The flux is spherical granular, grain size is from 10 to 60 mesh. As a result of low hydrogen levels(max. 5ml/100g), low oxygen, sulfur, phosphor levels in the weld deposits, uniform mechanical properties with low temperature toughness are obtained. Slag is extremely easy to remove and bead appearance is beautiful in multi-layer narrow gap welding of thick plates. The special production method ensures that the flux has low moisture pick-up and granular stability. Flux shall be capable of meeting the applied requirements. As the bulk density is low, so is the consumption rate.
Applications
Flat butt and fillet welding of mild and high tensile strength steels for frames, bridges, pipes, pressure vessels and ships.
Characteristics
It has excellent welding technology properties. Regularly shaped welds are deposited without reduction of area or interface notches. Slag detachability is good in multi-layer narrow gap welding of thick plates.

Notice:
1. Before welding, flux must be baked for 2 hours at temperature of 300-350°C.
2. Remove rust, oil, moisture and etc. from the weldment.
