Cisco Catalyst WS-C3850-24S-S is the next generation enterprise-level stackable switch that is integrated with 24 SFP ports in IP base feature set. WS-C3850-24S-S supports up to 1K VLANs and delivers comprehensive layer 2 switching and limited layer 3 capabilities by offering the feasible solution for access layer or distribution layer. In order to stacking with LAN base feature set, WS-C3850-24S-S needs to configure in LAN base mode from CLI. Cisco 3850 series combines both wired and wireless capability on a single platform. By utilizing wireless controller functionality, wireless access point license is required: LIC-CTIOS-1A license for 1 access point. StackPower technology enables power stacking capacity in order to power redundancy among stack members. Network uplink modules enhance the flexibility for customer to choose network uplink connectivity. Flexible Netflow intelligence technology monitors every single flow on both wired and wireless users.
