AB70-95CPU Redundant Controller is an anxiliary equipment for AB80-60/80 series matrix switcher, which provides two AB80-60/80CPO external CPU connections. The redundant CPU comes to work while the main CPU is in failure, which ensures the matrix switch system operate normally and stably.
The two AB80-60/80CPO connected to AB70-95 actually operate synchronously,which can accept the keybaord command and alarm information etc. AB70-95 detects whether the main and resundant CPU are in failure.Only CPU1 provides control signal output in normal stautus. The CPU2 ouput is switched automatically while the system is in failure.
AB70-95 rear panel provides 3 groups of communication ports,and each group contains 8 RJ-45 connectors and one BNC high speed data line connector to connect CPU1, CPU2 and matrix system equipment respectively.AB70-95 judges whether the connected CPUs work properly by the detection for these ports. The RJ-45 connectors of group SYS are designed for keyboard, alarm interface unit and PC connection, however,the high speed data line is for matrix keyboard, matrix chassis and auxiliary equipment connection.
AB70-95 front panel provides 4 indicators classified into 2 CPU status indicators, one alarm indicator and one power indicator.When two AB80-60/80CPO is connected and work normally, the CPU1 and CPU2 will flash very two seconds. however,when any one of them is in failure, the corresponding indicator will turn normally light.The indicator will not turn on when high data line is not connected. When any of the CUP is in failure, the alarm indicator will turn light, 3 group of normally opened/closed relay contacts and the beeper will be actived.
