Description
AB70-86 matrix protocol translator is an auxiliary equipment for AB80 series matrix switcher, which can translate AB keyboard control signal to control other matrix from multiple manufacturers, such as video switching, pan, tilt, presets prosition and auxiliary controlling.
AB70-86 can translate a variety of matrix protocols, such as PHILIPS, VICAN, AD, UNIVISION or PELCO. The pannel provides 4 AB keyboard connectors and 4 matrix connectors supported RS-422, RS-232 full duplex and RS-485 dual duplex interface with selectable baud rates from 600B to 19200B. 4 AB60 keyboards and 4 matrixes connection and controlling are avaliable.
AB70-86 distinguishes every matrix with site numbers, so the corresponding matrixes can be controlled according to the site numbers with AB60 series keyboard. Each matrix connector contains 4 site numbers, and AB70-86 has capability of up to 4 sites controlling.
