Tubing Pump
The tubing pump has larger bore than a rod pump and produces a greater volume of fluid in a given diameter of tubing. It is the strongest pump that has ever been made. It has large fluid flow areas and is adaptable for producing viscous fluid. It is recommended for GYP wells.
Due to the limitation imposed by the strength and stretch of the rod string, installations are usually shallow to medium depth with relatively large volumes of fluid. It is not recommended for gas.
