The On-Line Style Insulation Resistance Tester is specially designed to measure the insulation resistance of the ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) Unit. Measurement of insulation resistance at an early stage often makes it possible to discover faulty points in the insulation before they burn through possibly causing serious problems.

The most important advantage of the on-line style tester is that it can work when the ESP Unit is running. To put it differently, the insulation resistance of the system can be measured without power off and will keep the ESP system running through most common failures.
