Paclitaxel Injection is an antimicrotubule agent that promotes the assembly and stabilization of microtubules from tubulin dimers. Late G2 mitotic phase is inhibited and thus cell replication is inhibited. Paclitaxel also can distort mitotic spindles resulting in chromosomal damage.
It is used in Breast cancer , Cervical cancer , Endometrial cancer , Kaposi's Sarcoma , Lung cancer ,Ovarian cancer.
