OPS is mainly used for diagnosis and programming BMW vehicles after E65 series. OPS

unit with DIS software is used for diagnosis, which is carried out via OBD-II socket.

OPS unit with SSS software is used for programming, which is carried out via

OBD-II socket and MOST socket.

 

Features:

1. It can work with all vehicles after BMW E60, as original do.

2. The OPS (Optical and Programming System) can be used especially to program vehicles

from E65 as it allows, in addition to vehicle access via the OBD II interface, access to the

MOST bus.
3.There is no difference in the programming times when using the OPPS or

OPS as the vehicle interface.

4. The optical programming system (OPS) for programming vehicles is handled in exactly

the same way as the OPPS.

5. The connection to the workshop network is effected via network cable to a free network

connection.

6. Like the OPPS, the OPS does not have an air interface, as the high bandwidth required for

programming can currently only be achieved by means of a cable connection
