Application:
1. Act on the central nervous system: its aqueous solution inhibits mice' s autokinetic movement, prolongs the duration of pentobarbital' hypnotic action, decreasing the excitement stimulating by Caffeine.
2. Act on cardiovascular system: relaxes the coronary arteries, provides increased blood supply to the heart muscle, decreases the cerebrovascular accidents; Lower blood pressure.
3. Act on the blood system: inhibits the platelet aggregation, reduces the viscosity of the blood, suppresses the thrombosis.
4. Its alkaloids ferulic acid and cnidilide are antispasmodics.
