Properties:

1.This product should be used along with another methylene donor, such as hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) or hexamethoxymethylmelamine (HMMM), in the rubber compounding applications. After the cross linking reaction with methylene donor compounds, it could improve the hardness, tear resistance, wear resistance and tensile strength properties of rubber compounds. In uncured rubber stock, it could increase the scorch time and lower the Mooney viscosity properties.

2. it can function as a tackifier, plasticizer and softening agent to rubber compounds prior to vulcanization, and performs as a reinforcing agent after the cross-linking.

Application:

Phenilic reinforcing resin can be used in the manufacture of tires, rubber coated rollers, window sealants of automobiles, etc.
