Properties: Odorless and non-toxic. Highly soluble in aceton, ethyl acetate; soluble in benzene and ethanol; slightly soluble in carbon tetrachloride; insoluble in gasoline and water.

 

Uses: Widely used in NR and synthetic rubber products such as tires, sheets and shoes; not suitable for latex.
