1. Equipment application

   The hydrostatic test machine is used for hydrostatic testing of spiral pipes and checking if there is leakage defect on the pipes under designated testing pressure. Thus the performance of steel pipe can be assured.

   2. Technical performance and requirements

   2.1 Specification and end position of tested steel pipes

Outside diameter : φ508mm～φ2540mm

Wall thickness : 8～25mm

Length : 8～15m

End position: After cutting by plasma, axial deviation of the cutting beginning and ending point is less than 3mm.

   2.2 The maximum weight of a single tested steel pipe:  23tons

   2.3 Steel Pipe material:

The highest grade steel X70 API Spec 5L (44 version of pipeline steel specification)

The implementation standard of pipes: API Spec 5L (44 version), GB/T9711.1-1997,GB/T9711.2-1997, SY/T5037-2000 and SY/T5040-2000

  2.4 Maximum testing pressure: 25Mpa

  2.5 Sealing type: End sealing

  2.6 Time of pressure keeping: 5～15 s (The max is 30 s . The time of pressure keeping can be regulated.)

   2.7 When the testing pressure is stable , the range of pressure fluctuations is 0～0.3Mpa

  2.8 Maximum loading capacity of this hydrostatic test machine: 2800 tons

  2.9 Production capacity : 6(φ1422mm)～15(φ508mm)pieces /hour
