Ferro silicon slag is new substitude of ferro silicon, has the same function but lower price with ferro silicon in steel making.
Introduction
Ferro Silicon slag is produced from fresh 50% to 75% ferro silicon fines generated through lump crushing operations. No sand or other aggregate fillers are used. The silicon recoveries from these products are very silimar to that of lump ferro silicon. Si briquettes may be used as direct replacements for ferrosilicon bricks,lump ferro silicon,and silicon carbide.
Application
(1) Ferro silicon slag is extensively used in steel-making, casting non-ferrous metals and other industrial production.It is good deoxidizer for most steel smelting.
(2) Ferro silicon slag is used as sedimentary accretion and expanding deoxidizing.This kind ferro alloys is used to improve the strength, hardness and elasticity of steel.
