Large Casting / Forging

CITICIC is one of the main works for manufacturing large casting and forging in China. It possesses advanced equipment and manufacturing processes, over 40 years of history and achievements in manufacturing castings and forgings.

CITICIC is capable of providing various heavy machinery components, which include mill rolls, spindles, bearing chocks, mandrel shafts, various gears and tube moulds, etc.

CITICIC is one of the largest bases for manufacturing the mill roll in China. The large back-up roll forged in material Cr3, Cr4 and Cr5 and various work roll forged for the hot rolling mill can be available from CFHI.

CITICIC is capable of providing finite chill hardening (standard type) iron cast roll, infinite chill hardening (improved type) iron cast roll, hi-Cr steel roll, hi-Cr iron roll and hi-speed steel roll.

Its yearly productive capacity of casting and forgings is 10 thousand tons , among which are mainly used for making ships, the types of castings for ships are rudder horns, upper castings, lower castings, sterns, stern shafts,vanes and cases of pump.etc. and the forgings are propeller shafts,intermediate shafts, rudder stocks and pintles.etc.
