1. Properties: Supply Ferro-silicon alloy is used to precipitate and diffuse deoxidation in steel making. We add a certain volume of silicon to steel to improve the strength, hardness and flexibility of steel. Ferro-silicon alloy also improves permeability of steel and lowers hysteresis loss of transformer steel obviously. It is an important type of inoculation and nodulizer in the process of spheroidal graphite cast iron making.
