The marine gearbox Model MB170 is one of the MB series products developed and produced by Shaoxing FengShun Gearbox Works. Model MB170 described in this manual possesses the capabilities of ahead and astern; clutching and disclutching; reducing speed and carrying the propeller thrust.

SAE input coupling and bell housing are available on request. The spare parts are provided to be selected by the customers.

Model MB170 has mine ratios from 2:1 to 6:1, selected according to the technical parameters of engine and boat and capacity chart of the gearbox, other ratios can be designed to meet the requirement of the customers.

In order to operate and maintain the gearbox properly, the customers must study this manual carefully before putting it into operation.
