Specialized protective device to operation transient overvoltage caused by vacuum switch triping is resistance-capacitance absorber, but it could not prevent lightning and avoid other high amplitude overvoltage. On the other hand, even though the arrester is combined design, it still could not thoroughly prevent hazards of operation overvoltage. Therefore, we combine the two devices which named combined resistance-capacitance overvoltage protector (another name is apposal resistance-capacitance arrester ), making the advantages of full function and miniaturization come true. At present, it is the most advanced among the internally installed overvoltage protectors of vacuum switch cabinet.

1 This device is applicable to AC power system ranging from 3KV to 6KV. Equiped inside of cabinet with vaccum switch, it is to absorb overvoltage during operation. Meanwhile, it has complete function of lightning protection.
