The G-Scan GIT is being unveiled as the latest Asian specialist diagnostic product to hit the UK, similar to the Carmen scan but potentially an all round market leader with strong European coverage along side.
Since G-scan secured the contacts to supply OEM approved Hyundai and Kia diagnostics (formally Carmen Scan) it has become the Leading Diagnostic Tool in Japan outselling Launch, Carmen and other big brands.
With the ever increasing need for OEM level diagnostics G-Scan are heavily developing the levels of Asian coverage to bring them up to this standard, giving you all the functionality the dealer would have. On Hyundai and Kia for example you can look to see if there is a new updated version of software for the engine ecu, code parts, reset adaption values and even change existing features of the vehicle.
The G-Scan will provide an auto search function that tries to communicate with “ALL” possible in the vehicle in sequence, and reports back with a list of all available systems.
Long lists of Data stream can be analyzed by using the large screen that allows you to easy scroll for full flexibility whilst reading fault code information
A feature that The G-scan has over no other scan tool on the market is a unique idea but very simple. By using the Pen tab ( top right corner ) you can capture the image on the screen and by using the Stylus attached to the hand held unit you can make notes over the data screen as shown below.
With Diagnostic faults being so hard to pinpoint you can now store your own good / bad readings from vehicles you have seen before or make your own library using the G-scans on board memory. You can also connect via USB lead to your pc or printer to show the customer your findings.
