Characteristics: white or grey piece or granule, to moisture sensitive, easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide. Produce biocalc and a lot of heat when dissolves in water. Can dissolve in acid, glycerol and cane sugar liquor, almost can not dissolves in alcohol. Relative density is 3.32-3.25. melting point is 2572℃. Boiling point is 2850℃.corrosive.

 

Storage: keep dry and sealed

Usage: analytical reagent, carbon dioxide absorbent, cosolvent, plant oil decolorizer.

Safety precautions:

Leaking: quarantine polluted area, restrict in and out. People who deal with leak should wear protect clothes and filterable mask to resist acid-base, shouldn’t touch it directly.

A little leaking: avoid raise dust; collect it into dry, cleaning and covered containers by cleaning shovel.

A large number leaking: needle water control dust, protect people.
