Physical and chemical properties

Colorless translucent crystals or white crystalline powder. Odorless, taste salty. Soluble in water, glycerol, slightly soluble in alcohol. Weakly alkaline solution. Borax in the air can slowly weathering. Melting into a colorless glassy material.

Use

Mainly used in glass and enamel industries. In the glass, can enhance UV transmission rate and improve the transparency and heat resistance of glass. Products in the enamel, the enamel can not easily fall off and to make it shine.
