Quartz glass plate is usually formed by cutting and grinding the quartz glass. The silicon dioxide content is up to 99.99% and its hardness reaches Mo-type 7. It usually seems to be colorless and transparent. Its visible light transmittance is up to 85%.  It has many excellent characteristics, such as heat resistance, small coefficient of expansion, better insulated property of electricity and so on.
