High Strength Fire Rated Glass

Fire-proof glass can keep its integrity for 90-120 minutes in 1000 degree fire environment. As for impact resistance in the precondition of same thickness, the strength of fire resistant glass is 6-12 times higher than float glass, and 1.5-3 times than toughened glass. Laminated Fire Rated Glass

Laminated fire rated glass is a fine performance safety glass, it is made by cementing together two or more pieces of transparent glass polyvinyl-butyral (PVB) film. Its performances are transparent high mechanical strength, resistance to fire, heat and coldness, sound insulation, sunshine control.

Because the glass is cemented with the medium layer firmly, when the laminated glass is stroked and broken, the broken pieces cemented on middle PVB film only from radicalized crackles, can keep its primary shape and visibility, the glass broken pieces will not hurt human, so it can still be used for a certain time. The laminate glass has fine impact resistance and broken safety performance for its toughness, stickiness and flexibility.
