Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyor is a kind of machine used to convey materials continuously. It is widely used in mining, metallurgical and coal industry to transfer sandy or lump materials, or packaged goods.

According to different transferring requirement, conveyor belt can be used independently or combined together or with other transfer equipments. Belt conveyor can be installed horizontally or in a slope. Belt conveyors can work in the temperature range from -20 to +40. The temperature of transferred materials should be lower than 50.

Belt conveyor working principle:
Belt works by the friction force. The motor drives the driving roller of the belt conveyor, then roller will drive the belt moving accordingly, the materials are conveyed from the original place to the place where they are needed.

Belt conveyor advantages:
Large conveying capacity, simple structure, standard components, easily maintenance.

Types of belt conveyers:
1. Divided by Driving Method:
a. Mechanical transmission. Equipped with cycloidal pin-wheel reducer, outdoor motor and triangular belt transmission.
b. Electric Driving roller Transmission. It is driven by electric driving roller directly.
2. Divided by Installation Methods
a. Fixed type. It's directly installed on foundation.
b. Moveable type. Equipped with wheels and slope adjusting device; it can be freely moved and adjusted by requirements.
