TPD temperature programmed desorption
Under the diverse temperature with the amount of gas absorption determines activity central quantity, types and fusibility on the surface of catalyst. After degasification, reduction and other surface treatment of the sample, analyzes gas and the activated composition reaction for sample, temperature programmed desorption on the condition of carrier gas.
Under the certain temperature, heat energy will get over activity energy and make the breaking for bond between absorbate and sorbent, then absorption substance will be desorbed. If there are the diversity activity metal, absorption substance usually will be desorbed under the diverse temperature. Desorption molecules enter into inertia gas flow and their concentration will be measured by thermal conductivity cell. From TPD graph can obtain related inform such as desorption peak, desorption temperature point.
 
TPR temperature programmed reduction
TPR can determine the amount of catalyst reduction composition and show the temperature when occur to reduction. TPR usually requires catalyst is one of Oxide, namely including metal element can be deoxygenated. When the temperature for sample that is analyzed by mixture gas which mix up reaction gas and carrier gas is variational in linearity, reaction gas will be consumed and make the change of mixture gas composition. At the same time from this way can get the amount of hydrogen consumption through calculating the area of peak which is showed on the graph of TPR.
 
TPO temperature programmed Oxide
    TPO is one of methods that test the extent for catalyst being oxided. Usually on condition that catalyst is the base metal or the base metal which is transacted by reduction pretreatment, 2 percent of reaction gas which is mixed oxygen with carrier gas transits the sample with the methods of pulse inject sampling or stable air current. When the temperature programmed rises, oxidation will be reacted in certain temperature, then consume oxygen and make the proportion change for the gas of mixture. It measures the consumption of oxygen by detectors.
 
PT pulse titration
Pulse titration determines activity surface area and crystalloid average granularity of sample through measuring the pulse of reactive gas which transited sample. The chemical reaction for gas and activity composition reacts by many times till all the reaction is finished. Once activity reaction finish, the volume of input and output gas into sample tube is not changed. It forms the same pulse peak on the graph and can calculate surface and average granularity through the area of peak on the graph.
