CONSTRUCTION:
WFY Kammprofile TM Gasket (Serrated Metallic Gasket) consist of a metal core, generally stainless steel with concentric grooves on both sides. A sealing layer is ususlly applied on either side and depending on the service duty the maeterial for this layer can be expanded graphite, PTFE, Asbestos free gasket sheeting materials or some soft metal. It can be used without sealing layers to provide an excellent sealing but there is a risk of flange surfange surface damage especially at high seating pressure.

Depending on centering ring with cheaper gasket materal (Normal:CS) and thinner thickness (Normal:1.5mm) for Style 3200 SJ, maybe it is more economical than 3200JR.

Kammprofile TM gasket : is the preferred gasket when improved performance at low seating stresses is required. It features excellent anti-blow-out properties linked with the reliably of a solid metal-to-metal where high temperature, pressures and fluctuating conditions are encountered. Non-metal cover layers ensure that flanges are not damaged , even at extreme loads. This gasket is an ideal replacement for problem applications associated with jacketed gasket, for heat exchangers vessels and reactors and various flange connections. Pressure: (6.4~25Mpa)
