Property: Silicon dioxide is a white or Colorless powder, when with a large content of Fe, it would be yellow.
Insoluble in water, soluble in acid, when in particle state, can play a role with molten caustic soda.
Application:
Used as rubber sole reinforcing agent, and has the function to make rubber products look light-colored and apparent. Its reinforced porperties approximate to carbon black.
