Description:
Free-flowing light yellow powder consists of fine spherical particles.
Practically odourless.
Composition:
The spherical particles contain vitamin K1 oil dissolved in droplets of 1-2um embedded in a matrix of gum Arabic (E414), sucrose and coated with modified starch. The product contains t-butylhyd roxytoluene (BHT, E321) and DL-a-tocopherol (E307) as an antioxidant.
Solubility:
The product can be dispersed in cold water to form a stable milky emulsion.

Stabilization/Stability:

Applications:
Pharmaceutical preparations:
For the manufacture of solid products with vitamin K1 as the sole active ingredient, as well as multivitamin and mineral preparations, e.g. tables, sugar-coated tablets, instant drink granules, effervescent tablets, hard gelatin capsules.
Food products:
For the fortification of baby food and children’s food, dietetic foods, instant drink powders, dried milk, and for vitamin mixtures for the food industry. Dry vitamin K1 1% can also be used in multivitamin fruit juices and confectionery, e.g. multivitamin sweets. Very suitable for the manufacture of hypoallergenic foods, as the product contains no protein.

Storage …The product should be stored in the tightly closed containers at room temperature (about 25°C). It is essential to protect the product from light.
