Ⅰ. System Overview
N-T CON, CN-E864A telephone system is a member of the N-T CON analog advanced hybrid system, designed for medium size establishments. The CN-E864A is high reliable equipped with all popular, traditional, and advanced functions. The basic system is equipped with 4 central office lines and 16 extensions, but fully expandable to 8 Central Office lines and 64 Extensions by adding 8 port extension cards.
NB: - All extension ports can be connected to a single line phone.
- The system can be programmed by a single line phone.
1. Main Features:
※ Can connect 12 Key Phones .
※ Multi-mode Call Transfer
If a call is transferred by Operator or auto-attendance DISA to a busy extension, it is automatically configured to be retrieved by the operator extension.
※ System can be programmed and monitored easily by a Key Phone.
※ Built-in 6-duration Out-Going Message (DISA).
※ Built-in Caller ID function for intercom and outside Line number.
※ Economical Code auto-route
System can automatically switch to economical route code provided by different Telecom Carriers.
※ Select a CO Line directly without dialing digit “9” or “0”.
※ Manually Day/Night Service Switching
System can manually switch Day/Night service through the Operator, so that during daytime all incoming calls can ring at the desired extension, and at nighttime, it can be switched to auto-attendant mode.
※ Flexible Extension Numbering
Extension numbers can be of 2, 3 and 4 digits and the leading digit can be “1”,”2”or “8”.
※ 255-group Walking Account Code
Accounts are available to different extensions with different classes of service authority.
※ Manager/Secretary Call-group
There are total 8 groups Manager/Secretary partied in system. This feature can prevent the unnecessary calls from interrupting the Manager. All incoming calls to the manager will automatically first be transferred to the secretary.
※ Conference Call
3-party conference for single line phone and 8-party for the key phone.
NB: The 8 party include a maximum of 2 incoming parties and 6 intercom parties.
※ Hot Dialing
You can store one CO line number or extension number in the extension. When the user picks up the handset without dialing in 5 seconds, system will automatically dial the stored number.
※ Auto. Call-back on busy
When an extension or desired CO line is found busy, the system can automatically call back the calling extension when the desired CO Line or desired extension is free.
※ Multi Answer Mode
The system can have a manual Operator, Auto-attendance and can connect to external DISA recorder or voicemail.
※ Call Forward
Through station setting, a call to a busy extension or that is not answered, can be redirected to another extension through call forward directly, call forward busy or call forward when no answer.
※ Setting Operator
Three operators can be set. Thus when operator 1 is busy, call will ring at operator 2, operator 3 etc.
※ Extension lock
Using a PIN CODE, a user can lock an extension so that other people can not make a long-distance call or an outside call.
※ Call Pick-up
A user can pick up a call ringing at another extension by dialing two digits.
※ Conversation Time Alarm
In order to prevent a user from talking too long on the phone, the system can be set to either calling-out limitation or calling-out and calling-in limitation. When then conversation reaches the restricted time, the system will make an alarm and cut off the line automatically.
※ Interrupt and disconnect an outside call
For some emergency situation or no CO line available, the manager can interrupt an existing outside call conversation and disconnect it.
※ SMDR
The system has a port onto which call logging printer or software can be connected to record all out going Trunk line calls.
