The 637 bits can be used to drill high compressive strength, hard and abrasive formations. Wear – resistant tungsten carbide inserts are used in outer rowsto prevent loss of the bit gauge . Maximum number of the hemispherical – shaped inserts are used in all rows to provide cutter durability and long life . such as : limestone, dolomite, malmstone, chert.
