Character: Colorless prismatical or needle-shaped crystal, odorless, taste, cool, salty, bitter. Relative density  is 2.65, steady in damp air under 48℃. When it in warm or hot air, it`s easily effloresce. It is easily soluble in water (119.8%,20℃) and glycerine, insoluble in ethanol. PH value is 7.0.
melting point is 35 ℃. It`s stable in the air. When heated to 700 ℃, it will become magnesium oxide. It hardly soluble in water, but it will bring a slight alkaline reaction. It can`t be soluble in ethanol but soluble in olefine acid with sparking.
 
Usage: In food industry, it`s used as nutritional supplement, solidification, the flavor increase, process helper, brew additive. When added in brew water, it is used as nutritional supplement to improve ferment inbrew and the improvement of the synthesizes drink taste(0.002%). It also can adjust the aqueous degree of hardness.
 
Packing: It`s used as drier, color ficatives, anticaking agent, carrier, swelling agent, acidity regulator.
 
Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry, ventilate and clean warehouse; Be cautious to keep away from moisture and hot; unloaded with care. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
