Heliciol repair kits include drill, simple wrench, helicoil extractor, helicoil tang break off tool, and spiral tap, gauges and others. Screwdriver - Plain Mandrel Type (Tang Break off Punches) is the quickest and most basic type of inserting tool. Its use however, is limited to free running, reduced diameter, inserts.  Plain Mandrel  screwdrivers are ideally suited to coarse pitch inserts, but with correctlt adjusted collar/shoulder and careful application they can easily accommodate fine pitches.
