Description
JK-03 ASP is a high range of water reducer which is a modified amino sulphonate and organic compounds with retarding effect. It contains no added chloride and meets the requirements of chemical admixture specifications for concrete: GB8076-2008, GB50119-2003. It complies with ASTM C494 Type F specifications.
Uses
1. JK-03 ASP has the advantages of no air-introducing, low dosage, low slump loss, no chloride and no sodium sulfate crystal. At normal condition, it can be prepared for C50-C80 high strength and high-performance concrete.
2. It is ideal for use in prestress, precast, bridge deck or any concrete where it is desired to keep the water/cement ratio to a minimum and still achieve the degree of workability necessary to provide easy placement and consolidation.
3. Applicable to the preparation of a plastic security requirement of commercial concrete, high-fluid concrete, retarder or super-retarder concrete, self-compacting concrete, mass concrete etc.
4. Applicable in concrete precasting and steam-curing for both industrial and civil construction project.
5. Available for base material for compound admixtures. It can be mixed with naphthalene-based superplasticizer which can achieve better water reducing rate and high strength performance.
Advantage
1. Low dosage: 0.5 to 1.5% with high water reducing 15 to 32%.
2. Low slump loss: It can satisfy the requirement of long time and distance transportation. It is ideal for commercial and pumping concrete.
3. Effective durability. It has the property of high volume stability, anti-seepage and anti-freezing.
4. Low alkali content: It can prevent alkali-aggregate reaction. When it is used in winter, there is no crystal.
5. JK-03 ASP can make high-slump flowing concrete. It allows concrete to be produced with very low water/cement ratios at low or normal slumps.
6. Wide applicability. It can be used with different variety of cement. Compatible with Portland cement, normal Portland cement, Portland slag cement, fly-ash cement and Portland pozzolanic cement etc.

Dosage
The after-mixing approach can achieve better result. The dosage is added from 0.5-1.5%. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.
