It is an antibotic which is used for typhus,primary atypical pneumonia,bacillary and amoebic dysentery,enteritis,meningitis scarlet fever,would infections abscesses,venereal lymphogranulomaneurotic syphilis,etc,and is also effective for the infections caused by penicillin resistant gram positive cocol.
