Character: Colorless or white crystallization. The relative density is 1.62 (20 ℃) and melting point 73.3-76.7 ℃. It dissovles in water, the aqueous solution was strongly alkaline. It is insoluble in ethanol, carbon dioxide. In dry air, it was easy to be weathered. The aqueous solution is corrosion of the skin.
Uses: used in metallurgy, chemical industry, textile, printing and dyeing, paper making, electrical ,mechanical,water softeners, cleaning detergents; of boiler tube. Dye intermediates desiccant, sugar juice purification agent, photographic developer, silk fabric enhancer and rubber latex coagulantin. Also, it was applicated in pharmaceutical factory.
