Have you ever heard of the rubber mould? As its name implies, it is made of rubber. According to different mould structures and fabrication techniques, this mould can be separated into the following four types, namely pressing die, die-casting mould, injection mold and extrusion mould. In addition, besides for the above-mentioned four types, there ar also some special rubber moulds, such as inflatable mould, rubber dip mould and so on. What comes first is pressing die. Sometimes it is also called the general die. The main material for this mould is the semi-finished rubber. This semi-finished rubber is processed through mixing. The so-called mixing process is a kind of rubber manufacture technique. This process helps the rubber and all kinds of accessory ingredients mix together and thus improves the rubber’s plastic property and flow property. After the semi-finished rubber is put into the die, the die will be pressurized and heated in the plate vulcanizing machine. Then by means of the pressurization and heating the pressing die is molded. Because this die is characterized by the simple structure, convenient operation and wide applications, it accounts for a considerable proportion in the field of rubber shaped parts.
The next type is die-casting mold. It is also called transfer-type mold. The main material is the semi-finished rubber or the slab rubber. People put the material into the cavity of the die-casting mold. Then the pressure of the die-casting plug squeezes the size material. Then sizing material enters into the molded foam by means of the pouring system. At last, the die-casting mold is molded. As for this mould, there are some unique features. It is more complex than the common die. And its consistence is quite excellent. Generally speaking, this mould is very applicable for the complex rubber products.
The third type is injectant mold. It is also a kind of Rubber mould. This mould is made of the sizing material in the plastic state. By means of the pouring systems of the injectant mold the sizing material is vulcanized. Then this mould is molded. The mould has a very complex structure. Therefore, it is widely used to produce the large-sized, complex-shaped and thick-wall products. In addition, its production efficiency is very high and the quality is also stable. At the same time, it can realize the automatic production.
Last but non least, the extrusion die is also a typical rubber mould. The main material is also the semi-finished rubber. Compared with other rubber moulds, the manufacturing process of this die is more complex. Its features ar similar to the injection mold. It also has the high production efficiency and stable quality. At the same time, it can realize the automatic production.
