Variable Diameter Stabilizer

 

Stabilizer is an important component in BHA of hole deviation control. But workmanship requires that the O.D of stabilizer is equal or 1~2mm less than the size of drill bit, so stabilizer is easily stuck in drilling operation for the small clearence between wellface and stabililizer. Now the Variable diameter stabilizer can solve this problem instead of the usual stabilizer.
