DCPD Alicyclic Resin, DCPD hydrocarbon resin, DCPD petroleum resin is Dicyclopentadiene Resin, DCPD Resin for short.

With light color and High Bromine, widely used for many industries, with softening point 90 to 100 for High tech rubber, tire, and softening point 110 to 120 for paint industry, and very high softening point from 130-140 for High tech printing ink.

 

1. DCPD Resin for Rubber

 

DCPD Resin DCPD-5-100 can be used as strengthening agent, to improve the strength and wearing property of rubber, with high bromine and viscosity, it can prolong the using life of the rubber, it can makes tire low heat power and low hydrogen content.

 

Application: High tech rubber, high tech tyre, racing car tyre, lifter truck tyre etc.

 

2. DCPD Resin for Paint

 

DCPD Resin DCPD-5-120 has good compatibility with epoxy resin in esters solvents and has good solidifying rate to epoxy resin, thus it can be used as a solidifying modifier too. DCPD resin can improve the adhesiveness as well as penetrability of paint to cement and steels, strengthen the wetting property to paint and improve the leveling property of paint film.

 

Application: Paint, Nitrate paint, Coating, Alkyd paint, Epoxy resin paint, Polyester paint etc.

DCPD Resin with high softening point, and good compatibility, the addition of DCPD Resin into printing ink and coating industry can have effects of quick dried, Color developing and brightening, effectively improve the printing performance.
