Solution Description

As the car unit passes the weighbridge, the device automatically recognises the car types and weighs them. Information about the weight, type, sequence number in the unit and its speed at the moment of weighing is stored in the control system for further processing.

The system consists of the  weighing system and the industrial radio frequency identification system.  The individual cars are provided with enclosed UHF RFID tags. The UHF Reader is NFC-9801 which is suitable for outdoor application. As the car unit is passing the weighbridge, the cars being weighed are automatically matched with their number obtained using the RFID system. As soon as the car passes the weighbridge, a full set of information about the car is available and is automatically transferred to the company’s weighing server using the company’s network and it is then distributed to the end users.
