Angular Contact Ball Bearing Description:
Angular contact ball bearing can be subjected to both radial and axial load, it also can be subjected to pure axial load.Its axial load capacity depends on the contact angular and increase accordingly.It can be used for high speed and high precision equipments due to its high limit speed and pre-adjustable rigidity.
Single-row angular contact ball bearing only can be subjected to the single directional load.So normally this kind of bearings are mounted by pair.
Physial Characteristics:
(1) have raceways in the inner and outer rings that are displaced with respect to eachother in direction of the bearing axis.
(2)This means that they are designed to accommodate combined loads,i.e, Simultaneously acting radial and axial loads.
(3)The axial load carrying capacity of increase with increasing contact angle.
(4)The contact angle is defined as the angle between the line joining the points of contact of the ball and the raceways in the radial plane, transmitted from one raceway to another.And a line perpendicular to the bearing axis.
(5)Features:
1.Load capacities are higher than deep groove ball bearing of same dimensions.
2.Used for bearing radial-axial combined loads or pure thrust loads.
