The titanium dioxide rutile and anatase both are in the shape of tetragonal crystal, and pyromelane orthometic crystal. Its solubility is very small, but it is soluble in acid and inorganic base. And when grinding to achieve micron particle size, it wil become a higher whiteness, brightness, better gloss, hiding power, more achromatic, good dispersion.
