Application: Chromic anhydride is mainly used in chrome plating and producing high purity chromium. It can be used to produce chromium oxide green. It acts as mordant when dying woolen fabric. It is also the raw material in making catalyst. In organic synthesis industry, it is used as catalyst and oxidant.
