Appearance:White or light yellow powdered crystal

Insoluble in toluene,%, max : 0.50

 

 

Properties: It is white or yellow crystalline. It can be dissolved in acetone, benzene, toluene, ethyl ether and ethyl acetate as well as warm carbon tetra chloride, ethyl alcohol and heptane. It is also can be slight dissolved in gasoline, but not in kerosene and water.

 

Application: Pre-vulcanisation inhabitor. Provide predictable scorch control in most sulphur valcanisation; Improved cost performance through marginal stock recovery, single- stage mixing, higher processing and/or curing temperatures; activity is linear and higher than most retarders; may cause bloom above 0.5 phr. It is the anti-scorching agent for both natural and synthetic rubber.

storage: Keep off moisture or heat and away from fire. The period of stability in storage is half year.
