Physicochemical Characteristics
Ferrous glycine complex is a pale beige crystalline powder with molecular formula C4H30N2O22S2Fe2 and molecular weight 634.10. It is easily soluble in water and hard to be oxidized. Its characteristics are with good fluidity, excellent mixed, high stability and good solubility.
Ferrous Contents (Fe2+)≧17%, Ferric Content(Fe3+)≦0.1%, Free Glycine≦1.5%.

Good Fluidity
Good fluidity and excellent mixed make it well-mixed in feed.

High Stability
High stability makes it difficult to react with other substances, such as vitamins and minerals.

PH
Ability to keep stability in low pH environment. So it avoids decomposing into amino acids and minerals and keeps the original structure in intestinal until to be absorbed.

Good Solubility
Good solubility makes it suitable for use in feeds including solid feed, liquid feed and milk replacer.

Functions
Maintain the level of hemoglobin and prevent anemia.
Improve sows reproductive efficiency, farrowing rate and litter weight at birth and at weaning.
Enhance abilities of immune response and disease resistance.
Increase myoglobin content and improve carcass meat color.
Decrease piglet diarrhea accidence and reduce piglets mortality.

Advantages
Minimum molecular weight, high absorption and utilization.
Provide ferrous and amino acids at the same time.
Good buffering capacity and keep normal PH value of intestine.
More heme formed and make oxygen carried.
