LSZH retardant polyolefin cable is usually combined by polyolefin blend resin and retardant filler aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and some appropriate amount of antioxidants which are added in order to improve the thermal lifetime. Sometimes, in order to reduce the amount of the smoke when burning joined some smoke inhibitor, such as: vanadium, nickel, molybdenum, iron, silicon, nitrogen compounds. The flame retardant aluminum is: when combustion, retardant filler aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide will release crystal water, and absorb a large amount of heat; at the same time, dehydration reaction can produce a large amount of water vapor which can dilute combustible gas, thus prevent burning, in addition, it will form a layer of non- molten and non-combustible oxide shell on the material surface, block the channel between the polymer and outside thermal oxygen reaction, finally, the material retardant, self-extinguishing.
LSZH flame retardant polyolefin cable material should have good flame retardant, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide in the formula must have relatively larger filling amount, usually need to achieve more than 150, use mixer to make the materials and inorganic material better compatibility, then use single-screw cooling pelletizing, this equipment with high output, low energy consumption.
