Cross linking cable usually refers to the cable insulation layer adopts cross linking material, the most commonly used material is cross linking polyethylene (XLPE), cross linking process is to make the linear molecular structure of polyethylene (PE) material through a specific way, make its formed shape of the structure of the mesh sub-line cross linking polyethylene, make long-term allowed working get from 700C to 900C (or higher), short circuit allows temperature from 1400C to 2500C (or higher), while under maintaining its original excellent electrical performance, greatly improving the actual performance. Domestic all adopt the second type---dry chemical cross linking; inert gas cross linking---dry chemical cross linking use adding oxygen compounds cross linking polyethylene insulation material, through the three layer coextrusion completed conductor shielding layer---insulation layer---insulation shielding layer extrusion, after this, continuously and uniformly through filling high temperature, high pressure nitrogen gas sealed tube to complete cross linking process. Heat transfer media is nitrogen gas (inert gas), cross linking polyethylene electric property is excellent; product range can reach to 5000KV.
