These are 4 pannels (four seasons), it's the painting about the traditional houses in Zhang jiajie, Hunan, China. Althouth  these are not as colorful as the landscape of Zhang jiajie, but this type of  composition looks quite elegant and more artistic. it's very popular to many people in different countries as well.You can put them together as it looks like this picture or separatly,or put them lower or higher along the floor's stairs.
