Model 101A-a12.6L O-ring sealed sensors are manufactured from BCM piezo resistive silicon dies. 101A-a12.6L pressure sensors possess a flush diaphragm which allows these sensors to be able to measure pressure of viscous liquides. The pressure is transmitted from the diaphragm through filled oil onto the sensing element. The oil isolation allows the sensor to measure the corrosive media as well as electro conductive liquids. These sensors feature low profile with diameter of 12.6 mm for the pressure wetted part. They are designed to be sealed by using an O-ring.
The measuring pressure range of 101A-a12.6L is from 0~50 psi to 0~1000 psi. The measuring accuracy is 0.25 %fso (fso=full scale output). These sensors can be excited by either current or voltage.
The 101A-series pressure sensors are manufactured without temperature compensation. Due to the nature of the silicon material, the maximum value of temperature coefficient of SPAN is as high as 0.27%fso/°C. This effect on the accuracy must be taken into account.
