Die production process
1)ESI(Earlier Supplier Evolvement):This is mainly between customer and suppliers on product design and mold development in technical discussions, the main purpose is to allow suppliers to product designers clearly understand the design intent and precision, but also make the product mold designers to better understand the ability to produce products, process performance, and thus makes more rational design.
2)Quotation: Including the price of mold, mold life, working processes, machines and tooling required tonnage of delivery. (More detailed quotes should include the weight of the product size, mold size weight and other information.)
3)Purchase Order: Customer orders, and supplier deposit issued order accepted.
4)Production Planning and Schedule Arrangement: This phase requires the mold for a specific date of delivery to the customer to respond.
5)Design: May use the design software have Pro/Engineer, UG, Solidworks, AutoCAD, CATIA and so on.
6)Procurement of material
7)Machining: General processes involved in a car, gong(milling), heat treatment, grinding, CNC, EDM, wire cutting(WEDM), JIG GRINGING, laser engraving, polishing and so on.
