The PDC drilling bit is a new type of drilling bit whose matrix(or rigid body) has been embedded by artificial polycrystalline diamond cutting teeth. It is applicable to soft-medium hard formation because of its cutting edge which replaced by sharp, wear resistant and self-sharpenable PDC cutting teeth, its high drilling rate(2 times higher than cone bit) which could obtained at low drilling pressure, and its high-footage(4-6 times higher than cone bit).
